Description: Evidence in Motion’s Sports Medicine Competencies course is to prepare sports medicine personnel to become productive members of the sports medicine team. EIM’s Sports Medicine Competencies course will cover many of the facets that are included in the management of patient/athlete, including, but not limited to: pre-participation screenings, evaluation of running and throwing mechanics, taping and bracing, return to sports testing, concussion management, dermatologic conditions, and injury prevention programs.

Objectives: Upon completion of this course a successful learner will be able to integrate the presented components of sports medicine into the management of the athlete.
