Absolute Conjugate Strategy at the Highest Levels of Sport
Provider Name: Training Room Education
Activity Type: On-Demand Activity
Description: High-level programming is not simply about selecting exercises—it is about understanding the athlete in front of you and determining what adaptations are needed to move them toward the demands of their sport. This course introduces the Absolute Conjugate Strategy as a framework for connecting an athlete’s current physical state, or Point A, withh their desired performance state, or Point B. Participants will explore how health, training and performance history, functional range assessment, and individual limitations can inform programming decisions and create meaningful feedback loops. The course then examines key performance qualities including absolute strength, speed strength, joint function, and reactive strength, while exploring the interaction between neurological and biological components of performance. Through concepts and applications drawn from high-level collegiate and professional football, the course challenges practitioners to move beyond incomplete or one-dimensional programming and instead build individualized, adaptive training strategies designed around the athlete, their position, their history, and the qualities required to perform at the highest level.
