Description: This course discusses suicide prevention strategies for healthcare professionals, including identification of suicide risk factors, use of validated screening tools, components of comprehensive suicide risk assessment, determination of appropriate levels of care, referral decision-making, and continuity of care practices. Cultural considerations, patient safety strategies, and provider well-being are also addressed to support safe and effective clinical practice.
