Description: The use of Red Light and Near Infrared light as a treatment and recovery tool has exploded recently, leaving many clinicians to play catch up on the mechanisms and science behind how and why it works. We know that Red Light Therapy is a safe, effective, evidence-based treatment option for a wide range of medical conditions, but knowing how and where it fits into our clinical flows can be challenging. This course will examine a number of common modalities and tools that are frequently used clinically and discuss how they can be combined into a comprehensive treatment plan along with red light therapy. We will discuss timing, sequencing and treatment combinations at length to maximize patient outcomes.

Objectives: • Describe the historical uses of light therapy for health and healing • Understand how photobiomodulation works in conjunction with other tools • Prescribe comprehensive treatment plans for a variety to conditions that combine multiple tools
